Appointment of HPAE Local 5094 University Hospital Committee Chair

The Local 5094 Executive Board has appointed Christine Boardingham to serve on the Local Executive Board as Chair of our Union Committee for University Hospital.

Christine is a Speech Therapist in the Inpatient Rehab unit at the Hospital. She is a longtime union activist who served as a Union Liaison and was elected as a Union Rep in 2013. She is currently serving on the Local’s Negotiation Team at the Hospital.

The role of the Committee Chair is to help coordinate our Union Reps at University Hospital and build our strength through engaging and organizing our members. The Committee Chair also serves as a communications link between our members at the worksite and has a vote on all matters of the Local Executive Board.
