Salem Nurses Support Their Negotiations Committee

Yesterday, the nurses at Salem showed their solidarity and unity for the Negotiations Committee and achieving a good contract by wearing HPAE pins.

To date, HPAE and the hospital representatives have met six times. We have reached tentative agreements on language that is important to have in a first contract, including a grievance and arbitration procedure. In July we will begin to discuss health benefits, wages and staffing.

The next negotiations are scheduled for July 11 & 12.
