Report on Workplace Violence at Bergen Regional Reveals Key Problems, Solutions
After meeting for almost a year, the Local 5091 Workplace Violence Prevention Committee has issued a report on the status of their efforts and the results of a membership survey on workplace violence at Bergen Regional Medical Center (BRMC). The goal of the committee is to create a workplace violence prevention plan that genuinely ends the threat of violence for all at the hospital.
Through the committee’s work, we are starting to see positive changes at the hospital.
It’s essential that Bergen County officials know the conditions that exist at BRMC. We’re asking every member of the local to document these problems by calling a new HPAE hotline so that we can document these problems.
