HPAE Nurses Announce a Tentative Agreement with Inspira Health

In joint negotiations for two months, unionized healthcare professionals at Inspira Medical Centers serving Cumberland, Salem and Gloucester County reached a tentative agreement with management. HPAE Local 5131 and Local 5621 representing over 1,400 nurses will vote on June 4th on whether to ratify the three-year agreement.

From the outset, the bargaining teams worked toward maintaining a commitment to the health and safety of patients and workers as a priority.

HPAE Local 5621 members at the Woodbury location had separate concerns regarding Inspira’s relocation of the Woodbury facility to Mullica Hill this fall. The upcoming move to a new location gave members concern for job security and maintaining a voice in the Inspira system. The bargaining committee worked with management to create a process for transferring jobs and services to the new hospital.

Details of the contract will be available after HPAE Local 5131 and Local 5621 members review the contract and conclude voting on June 4th.  Voting will take place at set times throughout the day at locations determined by the negotiating team.
