Financial Planning for Retirement
This seminar will help guide you through the retirement planning process. We will cover Social Security and Medicare, investment strategies to help maintain your investments through these difficult times, estate planning to help you preserve your assets, minimize taxes, and how best to ensure you will not outlive your retirement income.

Preventing Violence in Health Care Facilities
This law will help prevent violence in your workplace by mandating that the risk of violence in each facility is evaluated, that committees are formed which include staff members and that written violence prevention programs are developed. Attend this presentation to determine if your facility is following the state mandated regulations.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• Discuss the “Violence Prevention in Health Care Facilities Act” regulations.
• Identify if a facility is in compliance with regulations.

FMLA and Workers Compensation for Health Professionals
This workshop will discuss your rights under the Family Medical Leave Act and the New Jersey State Workers Compensation Law.
The Family Medical Leave Act gives you the ability to take time off from work without penalty for self-care and that of certain family members. NJ Workers Compensation Law protects you when you are injured on the job. Learn how these laws apply to you how to exercise your rights.
At the conclusion of this activity, participants will be able to:
• List the requirements for utilizing FMLA and NJ Workers Compensation.
• Discuss how these laws protect you when you are injured on the job or require time off from work.
