GET OUT THE VOTE

With only three more weekends to go before Election Day, Saturday’s NJ AFL-CIO grassroots mobilization efforts included a record-breaking 1,279 canvassers, representing 53 different local unions, walking door-to-door and visiting the households of their union brothers and sisters. Their one-on-one conversations about the economy, healthcare and working family issues are building support for the candidates who back strong plans to turn around America. 

Thank you to all members who participated and made Saturday a great success.  We still need your help to ensure the voice of working families is heard on November 4th.   NJ AFL-CIO Labor Walks are scheduled every Saturday and phone banks are up and running across the state, click here to view schedule and contact information. 

Additionally, HPAE is hosting phone banks in Emerson on Tuesday’s (10/21 & 10/28) and Union Tuesday’s (10/21 & 10/28) and Wednesday’s (10/22 & 10/29) anyone interested in phone banking, please contact Jean Pierce at jpierce@hpae.org
