HPAE Convention 2018
The Convention of the Health Professionals and Allied Employees, AFT, AFL-CIO will convene at the Harrah’s Waterfront Conference Center in Atlantic City, NJ, on October 5, 2018, at 9:00 a.m. The convention will remain in session until 4:00 p.m. or until all legal issues are given full consideration. Pre-convention activities will begin on Thursday, October 4, with lunch and committee meetings starting at 12 noon.
The HPAE convention is the primary decision-making body of the state federation. The vitality and democracy of the union depend upon participation by delegates from all HPAE locals in good standing. Important resolutions, constitution and bylaws, amendments, and the election of the HPAE president, first-vice-president, and secretary-treasurer will be in the hands of the delegates. Each local should take part in the election and all convention business.
