2011 has been a challenging year for union members everywhere – from Wisconsin to New Jersey. Here in NJ, we’ve faced attacks on our collective bargaining rights and on public services and funding for education and health care.

It is also an election year in New Jersey –every NJ Assembly member and NJ State Senator is up for election in November. This is the right time to let candidates and incumbents know your views.

As HPAE/COPE begins its screening process, we want to hear from you. HPAE members of our Committee on Political Education submit questionnaires to candidates, review voting records and interview candidates.
