NOTE LOCATION CHANGED Dear Friends and Colleagues,
Toll collectors have been in a long fight to stop the privatization of their jobs. Two years ago, toll collectors gave back 30% of their wages to save those jobs. But now – the Christie Administration is at it again. There is an RFP out to privatize the jobs of hundreds of toll collectors. This struggle has already cost Local 194 and other IFPTE Locals thousands of dollars and has resulted in reductions in members and in dues collection. In order to wage this battle, we are trying to raise tens of thousands of dollars to pay for materials, mailings, internet advertising, a website, and What: Fundraiser to Support Campaign other campaign costs. to Stop Privatization of the NJ Turnpike
