Inspira RNs United for Quality Care: Negotiations Update, March 25

Today kicked off our first day of bargaining with Inspira. Both HPAE locals negotiated jointly with the Hospital. We presented our package of proposals that included:

  • Nurse to patient staffing ratios that set reasonable caseloads
  • Reassignment language making intercampus reassignment voluntary and keeping nursing working in their home units
  • Wage increases that reflect the financial success of the system
  • Improvements in on-call pay
  • Increased opportunities for professional development
  • Scheduling procedures that allow for greater nurse input
  • Strong job protection language regarding the transfer to Mullica Hill

Our next bargaining session will be on April 10th and Inspira will be presenting their economic proposals to us at that time. Members are encouraged to attend. Negotiations will be held at the Courtyard Marriott in Glassboro, please arrive by 9:30 am.

WE ARE STRONGER TOGETHER!
