HPAE calls for Informational Picket Line, June 21
Today Local 5138 at SOMC and 5058 at JSUMC presented Hackensack Meridian Health management with a Ten Day Notice for a concerted activity, namely an Informational picketing event and flyering. This will be held on June 21st, 2020 from 2pm to 6pm on the lawn in front of Southern Ocean Medical Center on Route 72.
We need every nurse, any family members, friends and neighbors, any ancillary staff as well, who are concerned about safety for our patients and team members, a fair market wage increase, appropriate staffing, maintaining our floating language and making sure we have the right person, doing the right job, at the right time, to come and show your support for the nurses at Southern Ocean Medical Center.
We will have a General Membership Meeting via tele/video conference on Monday, June 15th at 8am and 8pm to answer any questions you may have. An email will be sent to you to RSVP to this crucial meeting.
