Employer Safety Violation List
In the ongoing COVID-19 global pandemic, HPAE members are sacrificing and risking their lives every day to care for patients. Members have had to fight with employers for the vital personal protective and respiratory protection they need; to receive effective and accurate training on safe equipment use; and to get timely notification about when they are treating COVID patients so they can apply full precautions during their work. Healthcare workers have been courageous not only in caring for patients desperately ill from a highly infectious and deadly viral disease but in reporting these workplace violations to the Occupational Safety & Health Administration (OSHA) and the Public Employee Occupational Safety & Health (PEOSH).
As decisions on HPAE-filed complaints are handed down by both agencies, HPAE will post all relevant documents here. If you have any concerns regarding safety protocols in your workplace, please contact your local officers or HPAE staff representative.
