We have a contract

Our contract is ratified!!!! An overwhelming majority approved the terms of the three (3) year contract.

This is an incredibly special moment in the history of our local. Our power was shown through our unity. Remember this moment, for it now is the benchmark by which we enforce our contract.

While we have always fought for benefits and wages, our union’s goals have always been defined by the standards of our profession – staffing, education, nursing practice which is evidence based, which in turn delivers high quality care to the community which we serve.

We achieved an excellent contract. But our objective is to enforce that contract and use it to attain those initiatives that we seek.
