Local 5089 Wage Increase Update
Please be advised that the wage increase referenced in the previous emails are for University Hospital members only. As stated earlier, HPAE has been advised that the step movement for every eligible member will take effect in the May 13th paycheck which is in accordance with the new Agreement between HPAE and University Hospital. In addition, those members at the top of the wage scale or step 26 will receive a lump sum payment in lieu of the actual step movement.
Effective May 27th, every member will receive an across the board increase to their base rate. There will also be a retroactive payment to October 1,2021 for those members that were employed as of 9/30/21.
