Local 5138 Bargaining Update: Session # 4, March 29, 2023
Today, March 29, 2023, HPAE met with HMH for a fourth day of negotiations. HMH came to the table and shared a presentation on the proposed performance evaluation, which incorporates HMH’s team member behaviors (the 5 C’s) and a change in the performance evaluation rating scale from 3 to 5 points.
HMH presented us with 2 counters and 1 new proposal, we gave them 1 counter proposal.
We will be reviewing all the proposals and we are anticipating some forward movement at the table for tomorrow’s negotiation day. We continue to stand united in preserving our contract language and keeping our focus on wages, staffing, and health and safety.
We are scheduled to meet tomorrow, March 30th and we have also requested more meeting dates.
