Local 5185 Negotiations Update: February, 16, 2024
On February 15, Your Union Negotiations Committee met with Management.
We discussed CarePoint’s financial status and future plans.
- There is no imminent plan to file for bankruptcy or close
- Commitment by owners and state to keep all three facilities open
- Management anticipates they will have a firm plan in place in 2-6 weeks.
- Commitment from management to keep HPAE informed immediately of any developments.
Our Next Union Meeting will be March 4th at Post 19 – We’ll be discussing our proposals, goals and strategy. Times are 08:00-08:30, 12:00-12:30, 15:30-16:00, 16:00 – 16:30.
