HPAE Local 5091Negotiations Update, April 15, 2025
Today marked our second day of negotiations with management, and it proved to be a productive session. However, we faced challenges as management rejected the majority of our proposals. They have offered a 2% wage increase each year for the next three years, which we believe falls short of recognizing our true value and the critical nature of our work.
We are resolute in our stance and will continue to advocate for our core bargaining priorities, including:
- Safe staffing ratios
- Fair and competitive wages
- Affordable health benefits
- Enhanced protections against workplace violence
- Just culture language
Our commitment remains unwavering, and together we will continue to fight for what we deserve!
In solidarity,
Your local 5091 Negotiations Team
