In response to a management’s inability to meet our demands, and their violations of our rights, 75.40% of Local 5185 members participated in our HPAE strike vote, and 97.46% of voters authorized a strike!

You, the members VOTED YES! This is a HISTORIC vote, with the highest turnout in our local’s history and strong participation across every unit and department!

Your “YES” vote authorizes our bargaining committee to send a 10-day strike notice to management if they don’t meet our demands for Fair Pay, Better Benefits, & Safe Staffing. This vote sends a powerful message that we are STRONG and UNITED. We are showing management that we are serious and are NOT backing down!
