HMH Nurses Striking for Safe Staffing
HMH continues to deny the safe staffing ratios our patients urgently need — and still refuses to make progress on fair wages.
Many hospitals across the state have adopted safe staffing ratios because the evidence is clear: safe staffing saves lives and protects patient care. All nurses, no matter their department, are impacted as staffing issues trickle down throughout the hospital. The nurses at HMH deserve respect and fair pay for their dedication and hard work.
HMH claims staffing ratios won’t fix the crisis — but ignoring proven fact-based solutions puts patients and nurses at risk. Southern Ocean patients deserve better. Nurses deserve better.
We are united and we will not back down.
