Ratification Update (email sent on 6/4/2025)

We would like to thank each and every one of you for all of your support throughout these negotiations, and for coming out for our ratification meetings. It has been a long and emotional process for everyone.

our contract was ratified yesterday (June 3). We had four meeting times, but also permitted voting from anyone who showed up in between. The voting box was sealed throughout the day until after everyone from the final meeting had placed their ballots. Tallying was monitored by an outside party, and recounted three times to assure validity. The final vote count was 192 votes in favor of ratifying and 148 against. With these numbers, our new contract was ratified and is fully in effect.

Congratulations on your new contract! We encourage everyone to take the time to learn the new language, and ask questions if you do not understand. And again, thank you for all the support. This contract would not be nearly as good without it!
