Local 5185 October 2024 Union Update
We have confirmed that Medical Insurance coverage has been reinstated, retroactive through September 25. If you have any issues or were harmed because you were not able to get timely treatment, contact a Union officer immediately.
Local 5131 General Membership Meetings on 10/22
Stay informed! Please join us for our upcoming general membership meeting on October 22nd. Get Local updates about grievances, staffing, and labor management. Our meetings will be virtual at 5pm and 8pm.

Our Solidarity Rally was a success! The corner of Bergen and 12th Ave was painted all union red as HPAE members gathered to show support for each other.
University Hospital local 5089 Rally Update and Tell UH Admin Your Story!
We met with the hospital to continue negotiating over our contract, which expires at the end of the month. Management proposed 1.45% across-the-board increases for Staff Nurses and 2.75% increases for other, non-bedside nurses.
