It is critical that you participate in Union actions to show support for our bargaining proposals! Our September 16th session was not worth our time. Every time we think we take two steps forward, the Hospital takes a step back.
We will be having a General Membership Meeting at the Glendola Firehouse, on Wednesday October 9th, from 5pm to 9pm. All Eboard and HPAE reps will be present to listen to your concerns and answer any questions you may have.
On September 13, we met with University Hospital to continue negotiating over our contract. We stood by our safe staffing ratios proposals, which would ensure the best patient care possible.

A lot has happened over the last two days - your Union officers have been working tirelessly to get the facts and make sure everyone's rights and jobs are protected.
On September 6th, with only 24 days left until our contract expires, we met for our 5th session with University Hospital. We are deeply frustrated with the administration’s latest proposal, which disrespects our hard work and dedication to our patients.
On 9/3/2024, we met with management for our first day of bargaining for our new contract.
As we continue negotiating your wages, benefits, and safe staffing with University Hospital, we join forces to show UH management that all Nurses and Healthcare Professionals unionized under HPAE support the proposals at the bargaining table.
