Local 5621 Negotiations Update, June 12, 2025

We are writing after another full day at the bargaining table with Inspira.

We have made some progress on some of the key issues members raised with us during and after ratification. Today’s win is a tentative agreement clarifying that the 1:5 ratio in acute care shall also apply to observation units, such as 3West.

We continue to go back and forth with Inspira on other issues members have raised with us, particularly staffing in the Emergency Department. We have scheduled another negotiation session on June 18th to continue negotiations.

We also want to let you all know that we have signed an agreement extending our current contract through 6/27. This gives us time to continue negotiating while alleviating any anxieties about working under an expired contract.
