Rerun Election Notice – HPAE local 5103 Vice President

The Election Committee has determined that a rerun of the HPAE Local 5103 Vice President election is required. This decision, initially issued as a provisional ruling on September 26, 2025, became final in accordance with local election rules when no appeal was filed with the HPAE State Executive Committee.

Protests had been submitted challenging both the Co-President and Vice President races, citing concerns that some members may not have had the opportunity to vote. Following a thorough investigation, the Committee found that while a limited number of members may have been unable to vote, this was not sufficient to impact the Co-President race but could have affected the outcome of the Vice President race. Therefore, only the Vice President election will be rerun.

Ballot Information:

  • Ballots will be mailed to eligible members on October 15, 2025.
  • Completed ballots must be received by AAA before the count on November 19, 2025.

Requesting a replacement ballot by November 5, 2025, will maximize the chance of it arriving in time to be counted. Please wait until October 22, 2025, before requesting a replacement to allow time for ballots to arrive by mail.
