Local 5105 Bargaining Survey
As we go into the holiday season, we want to remind everyone that our contract expires next year on May 31st. This will be a huge year for us as we fight for safe staffing and improved wages and benefits in our contract. All of our sister locals that have bargained over the last two years have achieved staffing ratios in their contract, and they have done it because their members were willing to do whatever it takes to win, up to and including a strike. While none of the other locals had to strike to achieve ratios, they clearly demonstrated to management that they were ready. Now it’s our turn.
In order to win the contract that we deserve, we will need participation from EVERY member, and it starts with this survey. Please fill it out so that your local bargaining committee knows what is most important to you in this upcoming fight. The results will inform the proposals that we put forth in negotiations.
