Local 5147 Fall Message

Fall is here, and the holidays are soon to follow. As we keep our loved ones and each other in mind, please remember those in our sister facility Heights University Hospital, formally Christ Hospital. As some of you may have heard, Heights University Hospital is going through financial hardships that could lead to the facility closing, leaving over 300,000 residents of Jersey City being served only by Jersey City Medical Center.

Reach out to your councilmen, let them know how important it is to keep Heights University hospital open and keep Jersey City residents safe for all their medical needs. Be on the lookout for further work from your union leaders
