Local 5186 Important Union Update, November 11, 2025

Today, Management just Informed us that they intend to close all departments aside from the ED. They could not give us a date, time, reason, or list of members who would be impacted.

They said that they would be rounding today, offering jobs at other facilities to members. Because these facilities are under separate Collective Bargaining Agreements, they have no authority to directly offer all these positions. If you take a position at another facility, you may be waiving your right to severance.

To protect yourself, continue to report to work as scheduled and do not sign anything management gives to you without first conferring with a union rep.

Management has provided no information. As information becomes available, we will continue to share it.
