Tell UMC – Union Members Need Stronger Protections

Yesterday (12/9/25), your bargaining team had our third negotiations Session with Management.

Management has still not engaged with us on our key non-economic proposals (Layoff Protections, No Forced Shift Changes, No Non-RN Duties, etc) and is instead proposing to ADD to the list of reasons you can be disciplined or fired.

We’re upping the pressure by asking ALL HPAE members to attend the first thirty minutes of our next session on Thursday the 11th at 5:00 PM Register/Join HERE: https://aft.zoom.us/meeting/register/LbSiJrRPS1iO9s8NAlA6nA

We arrived at two Tentative Agreements: Probationary employees getting holiday pay after 30 days (instead of 90 days), and guaranteeing that vesting in the 401(k) plan will always be 100% immediately (this is a very rare benefit).

Let’s show them we’re strong, united, and won’t back down!

In solidarity,

Your Local 5107 Bargaining Team;

Madelein Duran, Bristol Glen
Kelly Capaldi, Collingswood
Jackie Lesko, Collingswood
