Local 5094 Members: Union Coalition State Budget Town Hall
Governor Murphy’s proposed budget (which can be viewed here: https://www.nj.gov/treasury/omb/) for the state of New Jersey includes significant cuts to Rowan University, University Hospital, and Rutgers University — in addition to numerous cuts to specific programs that provide vitally important community services. If this funding is not restored, we could see cuts in services to communities that need us, and even job losses.
At a time when our public institutions are under attack by the federal government, it is more important than ever that the State of New Jersey step up to fill these gaps.
Join our union coalition’s State Budget Town Halls and learn what you can do together with our unions to prevent these cuts and to fight for funding to save our jobs and the community services we provide.
