We, the undersigned Employees of MHMC, respectfully request that the Hospital follow our contract and allow Employees who have traditionally worked 12 hour shifts to continue working those hours. We believe that changing to 8 hour shifts would be disruptive to the lives of MHMC Employees and their families. We believe that 8 hour shifts will not provide the quality and continuity of patient care that our patients deserve. We ask that the Hospital meet with our Representatives to explore other ways of meeting the challenges we all face.
