HPAE Joins the “Fight for $15” on April 15

Yesterday, HPAE joined with thousands of union members, low-wage workers, and community activists in demanding a $15/hour minimum wage and the right of workers to form unions in their workplaces. HPAE members and staff participated at strike support rallies held in Philadelphia, New Brunswick, and Newark.

In Philadelphia, several hundred fast food workers walked off the job as part of the “Fight for $15” movement. They were supported by union members and community residents, who participated at actions held at multiple McDonalds in the city.
