Tired of unsafe staffing? Mark your calendars to get on the bus to Washington D.C.
HPAE is joining forces with Nurses Take DC to join colleagues from across the country to urge Congress to set standards for nurse staffing levels by limiting the number of patients that nurses are caring for during their shift.
Numerous studies have shown that patient outcomes improve as staffing levels increase. Nurses must also be protected so they can speak up for patient safety and work to improve standards in their hospital.
On that day nurses will rally at the Capitol and visit with Federal Representatives to share their stories and urge lawmakers to stand with nurses to improve patient safety across and set standards of care for every patient.
More details and sign up will be sent out next week. For now mark your calendar to join us Thursday, April 26, 2018, on a bus to Washington DC.
