Hudson Regional Management Thinks They Can do Whatever They Want – We’re Fighting Back!

HPAE Members at all the hospitals owned by Hudson Regional (Bayonne, Heights/Christ, and Secaucus) have taken on Management separately, but we know we’re strongest when we stand together!

Whatever they get away with at one facility, they WILL try at the others.

Here is how HPAE members in your hospital are taking on Management and how you can help your union brothers and sisters in the other hospitals:

Heights (Christ): Our union siblings at Heights Hospital are fighting unlawful layoffs and dangerous unit closures. Management wants to level their hospital and build 2,200 luxury condos. Add your name to their public petition and share with your friends, family and neighbors: https://actionnetwork.org/petitions/save-christ-hospital/

Join them on 11/12 at 6:00 at Jersey City City Hall to tell the City Council to keep the hospital open and stop HRH’s land grab. RSVP HERE: https://actionnetwork.org/events/pack-the-room-save-christ-hospital-stop-the-land-grab/

Secaucus: Members are HRH have been dealing with surprise medical bills. Our CBA mandates that any service provided at the facility will be 100% covered – but over the past few months our members have been receiving surprise bills from services provided at HRH, and some are even in collections. We have an arbitration in January set for this matter. Please save any unpaid bills and show them to your union rep so they can be addressed and used as evidence in our Arbitration case.

Bayonne: Union members have been reporting that supervisors have not following rules and are speaking extremely disrespectfully to members. Union reps collected over seven pages of complaints and presented them to Management, giving them a week to improve. Some supervisors changed their behavior, but many others have not.

We have filed a class action grievance over this hostile work environment.

Members at Bayonne should Verge all incidents and anonymously report any incidents that have happened on or after 10/31/25 HERE: https://forms.office.com/r/MH0ghtDs99

Last week, Management tried to outsource the Lab at Bayonne without consulting union members – in violation of our contract. On Friday, HPAE members packed the room and demanded they withdraw from their outsourcing agreement.
