Our HPAE Local lost a valuable member to COVID recently. Cecilia started at Englewood Hospital in the Home Health Department. When Home Health closed, she transferred to 2 Kaplan.

Local 5030 Bargaining Update, May 5
We finished another day of negotiations today and met with HMH-Palisades again tomorrow and Friday. We also have additional dates for May 10, 12, 13, 14, 17, 18, 19, 25, 26, 27 and 28.
Membership Call, May 16
We will be holding a call at 6:00pm on Sunday, May 16th to give an update on upcoming negotiations, discuss our priorities, and talk about what it will take to win!

Local 5004 Negotiations Update, Friday, April 30 (Session 2)
The union received the hospital’s proposals today. Although the hospital’s proposals have a deleterious impact on members, their introductory statement revealed their intent of getting an agreement without making many changes to the contract.

Per Diem Holiday Requirements
You will soon be receiving, if you have not already, a form from the hospital asking you to list your preference for the upcoming summer holiday. The contract section 4.05 states your requirement regarding working holidays
