HPAE’s Jean Pierce Honored by Essex-West Hudson Labor Council

Jean Pierce, HPAE Public Policy staff member, was honored by the Essex-West Hudson Labor Council last Sunday morning at an annual breakfast event hosted by the labor council. Jean received the honor for her contributions to promoting a strong labor movement and a progressive political agenda in the state as an HPAE staff person.

HPAE leaders and staff attended the breakfast included HPAE President Ann Twomey, HPAE Vice President Bernie Gerard, Local 5089 President Cynthia McDougall, and Local 5094 Grievance Chair Mendes Toussaint.  Sue Cleary, the President of District 1199J, was also present when Jean was honored.

Jean’s Mom (next to Jean in the photo below) was perhaps the proudest person at the event.
