HPAE Endorsements for the 2013 Elections
In addition to electing a Governor and U.S. Senator, New Jersey voters will elect all of the state legislators in the Assembly and State Senate.
Based on a thorough review by our Committee on Political Education (COPE) of the candidates' positions on key issues for HPAE members, the HPAE State Executive Council (SEC) has endorsed Corey Booker for U.S. Senator, Barbara Buono for Governor, and state legislative candidates in almost all of the forty districts.

Cory Booker: Our New U.S. Senator
HPAE supported Newark Mayor Cory Booker's bid to become U.S. Senator. Booker is a strong supporter of the issues that are important to healthcare workers while his opponent, Steve Lonegan, consistently advocated an anti-worker agenda. We congratulate Senator-elect Booker on his election.
