The HPAE Local 5103 officer election is underway.
The election is being overseen by the American Arbitration Association (AAA). Ballots were mailed to all members in good standing on October 31, 2017. The deadline for receipt of ballots is Monday, November 27, 2017, to be counted. The counting of ballots will take place at 10:00 AM on November 28th , 2017, at the offices of the AAA located at 230 South Broad Street, 12th Floor, Philadelphia, PA. Ballots shall be secured at the offices of the AAA under lock and key. The AAA will guarantee the security of the ballots at all times and certify the results. The AAA is hereby authorized to administer said election for Local 5103 in accordance with the AAA Election Rules.
Voters with missing or damaged ballots will be directed to request replacements by calling our Duplicate Hotline 1- 215-731-2280 Monday through Friday, 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. This number is to be utilized only for duplicate ballot requests.
The responsibilities of the Association include mailing all packets, counting all ballots, providing the certification of results within 24 hours, and storing the ballots and business reply envelopes after the count for one year. Write-in candidates are not permitted.
