HPAE Participates in National Health and Safety Conference

HPAE members and staff are attending the National Conference on Worker Safety and Health (#COSHCON17) this week from Tuesday to today.  The conference is being held near Baltimore, Maryland.

#COSHCON17 is is the only national gathering of its kind, bringing together diverse grassroots health and safety activists from across the U.S. The key issues being discussed at the conference are:

• Confronting the rollbacks of safety regulations
• Fighting budget cutbacks
• Challenging “right-to-work-for-less,” “blame-the-worker” programs and other assaults on working people and our unions
• Discussing how we can organize to protect workers in a challenging political environment
