Local 5097 Bargaining Update with Complete Care: New Contract Ratified!

We want to thank all the members that showed up yesterday at the ratification vote. The new contract was ratified. The numbers are below.

We had the biggest turnout ever for a ratification vote yesterday and we cannot thank you enough. This shows that the members our engaged and taking part in their union.

• 75% of members voted yesterday;
• 97.5% voted to accept the new contract;
• .02% voted not to accept the new contract.

Thanks to your support, we were able to maintain much of our old contract and obtain wages we have not seen before, improved Health & Safety Language, improved Staffing Language, more money into our 401 (k), uniforms provided and so much more. This could not have been done without the members standing strong. We will be getting our new contract to the printer and once we have them back will hold another membership meeting to distribute them.
