• Management agreed to early negotiations

Bargaining starts early October

**** Officially announced that Temple University Health System Episcopal Campus administration has agreed to start negotiations for new contract early to the membership. Bargaining for new contracts start October 4^{th and each Wednesday of October until agreement is reached if no agreement is reached the negotiations will continue in December***}

• Contract Surveys and Negotiating Committee forms sent  out via email

****In early August contract surveys and negotiating committee forms were emailed and hand it out to our membership****

• Deadline for volunteering for Negotiating Committee August 7^th

****All negotiating committee forms should have been returned by August 7^th by members who were interested in being on the negotiating committee***

• LEB met to Discuss All Contracts Article by Article August 17^th

****The LEB met to review the Nurse’s Professional’s and Technical Unit’s contracts article by article several members expressed interest in being on the negotiating committee. The negotiating committee was chosen and will meet on September 7^th to discuss strategies and to formulate proposals based on your contract surveys. September 27^th a general membership meeting will be held to present the proposals based on contract surveys received from our membership****

• Change in yearly Evaluation Scale

****Revised rating scale from three choices to five choices existing choices :

Needs Improvement, Achieves results, Role model

Revised choices:

• Unsatisfactory, Needs improvement, Meet expectations, Exceeds expectations, Role model****
