We had our third day of bargaining with the hospital yesterday. Inspira gave us responses to many of our nursing proposals we put forward the first day of negotiations.

On Tuesday, April 9th, HPAE met with UH for another bargaining session that resulted in several tentative agreements clarifying contract language and other housekeeping issues.
The next session will be held at the Wingate Hotel in Vineland. Members are encouraged to attend. Please arrive by 9:30 am if you plan to be there.
As nurses, we have an interest in the future of our health system and the impact this merger between Virtua and Lourdes will have on our community.
The hearing was held at Willingboro’s Kennedy Center and featured testimony from more than a dozen residents and stakeholders on the proposal. A second hearing was also held in the afternoon in Camden.
Close to 100 nurses gathered in Hotel ML in Mount Laurel for a membership education dinner.

On Thursday, April 3rd, Pam, Karen and several other members attended the 2nd step grievance meetings for the sick time and PTO accrual issues.
