Local 5058 Members: Update on Pay Raise Discussions

At the last bargaining session, management claimed that they ever hear any complaints about scheduling and staffing from our members. Lets show them how wrong they are.
The American Arbitration Association (AAA) has conducted and tallied the Election of President for Local 5185.
It means there will be no harmonization of benefits and working conditions under the Hackensack Meridian umbrella. Benefits and working conditions which are less than what we have negotiated at Englewood Health.
We want to thank everyone that signed the petition and postcards during our campaign for raises for all and pushing back on the takeaways.
We are gearing up for negotiations with the Hospital. We will also be bargaining over the proposed sale of the Hospital so that we can all make sure our voices are heard during this transition.

The Nominations/Election Committee announces that there are five Local 5103 officer positions that are up for election this year. Nominations for these positions are currently being accepted by the nomination committee.
We met for our first bargaining session with Bergen New Bridge on April 4th in person. Deb Visconi, President and CEO, attended for the opening statements. Overall, the tone was respectful and cordial.
We will be holding membership meetings on April 12th in the auditorium to give an update on our recent negotiations. Please make every effort to attend one of these meetings to get involved and stay informed.
