We are happy to announce that our Negotiating Committee has reached an agreement with management at HRH for our new contract. The committee and the membership fought hard for this deal – and while we did not get everything we wanted, overall we believe it is an agreement we can be proud of.
The agreement provides solid across the board increases for each year (2%, 2.2% and 2.4%), improvements to shift differential (year one) and weekend differential (year three), a new step in each wage scale (year two) and seniority increments for long term service employees (year two).
Shortly you will get an announcement about Zoom based membership meeting for later this week. Prior to these meetings you will receive a summary of the new agreement via email. At those meetings you will be able to ask any questions you have about the new contract or how to vote on it.
The vote will take place early next week (still working on details) and will be the same method used for our recent strike vote. Prior to the vote the full text of the MOA and will be available for review.
