Local 5621 Negotiations Update, May 20, 2022
Yesterday the hospital responded to our economic proposals that were presented on week one of negotiations. The hospital proposed to let us keep the 3% raise that was instituted in November, as well as give us a 2.5% raise this year, a 2% raise in 2023 and a 2% raise in 2024. They tentatively agreed to our proposal of an increase in preceptor pay, but rejected other union economic proposals including increases in charge pay, on-call, and shift differential. Needless to say, we are not satisfied with their response.
We will continue to negotiate with the hospital over the next couple of weeks on both financial issues as well as other open proposals that include involuntary floating between all Inspira campuses and our clinical clusters.
