HPAE local 5089 Nurses Bargaining Update: We Have a Deal! Meetings and Ratification Vote Announcement

The HPAE 5089 United Bargaining Team at Rutgers is pleased to announce that we reached a tentative agreement with the University. The agreement demonstrates our membership’s unity and is truly a collective win. The tentative agreement does not become our contract until our membership votes to ratify the agreement.

Our HPAE Bargaining Team supports this agreement and is recommending a YES vote from our members. We look forward to bringing this contract campaign to a successful conclusion.

Membership showed ourselves to be strong enough to move our employer away from any take-aways and closer to our positions at the table. Thanks to our efforts, we achieved an agreement that we believe is worth bringing to the collective for discussion and ratification. The meetings will cover the full agreement content.
