When you voted on our positions, you sent a message. You gave us not just your vote of confidence in representing you in the workplace but you also entrusted us to keep your future best interests at heart. Though numerous, from questions on dialysis policy from ICU, advocating for proper staffing, respiratory therapists intubating, and recently the food delivery issue, we are tackling every concern we can to ensure a safe and fair work environment. With that said, we are pleased to announce a pay increase to the following members: Our OR as well as all Full Time and Part Time Registered Nurses across the hospital. The exact details of the increases can be found below:
Full Time and Part Time Registered Nurses
To those of you who feel we did not give you your fair share, we will attach the timeline for those positions who have received raises in the past while this contract was still active. THIS IS NOT THE END. THIS IS NOT THE NEW CONTRACT. To the Per Diem Registered Nurses, to our CNAs, to our Store Room, Radiology and beyond: We did not forget about you. We will continue to fight to ensure that everyone who comes to work and puts in their best day in and day out will be rewarded for that work. Your turn is coming, whether it be now or when negotiations for the new contract begin. Every journey begins with a single step. Let us continue to walk together toward a brighter tomorrow for all.
