Union Contract Proposals
Initial Contract Proposals Presented on Sept. 21, 2016
The Union Negotiations Committee presented a first set of initial proposals to management at a bargaining session held September 21st. The proposals included contract language providing for basic union rights, a grievance and arbitration procedure, and provisions ensuring the health, safety, and security of staff and clients at the facility.
Initial Contract Proposals (2) Presented on October 13, 2016
We presented a second set of initial proposals on October 13th. These proposals covered a wide range of issues, including staffing improvements, wages, benefits, work schedules, and leaves of absence. At this point, we have provided management with all of our proposals, except for several areas.
